Diagonals in Math

By Jasmin

My favorite thing we learned this week is diagonals because the shapes that I like only have two diagonals and those shapes are quadrilaterals. A trapezoid doesn't have any rules about diagonals because the rules don't apply to all of the trapezoids. The quadrilaterals that have perpendicular diagonals are the kite, rhombus, and the square. A triangle doesn't have any diagonals because the vertices are already adjacent. The definition of a diagonal is a line that goes from vertex to vertex (non adjacent).
