Learning Measurement

By Dawson

Last week we learned how to do measurement problems. I will tell you how to do them. First you will look at the problem and decide which measurement is larger and which one is smaller. Then if it is large to small you multiply, and if it is small to large you divide by your conversion factor and get your answer. If you do not have a number to multiply or divide by you go up or down. You know to go up if it is large to small, and you go down if it is small to large. For example, if the nunber was 20 you would go down to 19 or 18. If it was 20 and you had to go up it would be 21 or 22. That's how we learned to do measurement problems.
