This week in science we have been talking about kinetic energy & potential energy. Kinetic energy is energy of motion. Kinetic energy is when an object is in motion or if it is moving. When a force acts on the object while it has knetic energy it will sometimes become potential energy. Potential energy is energy that is stored. Potential energy is when an object is still but it has the potential to become kinetic energy. When a force acts on an object that has potential energy it becomes kinetic energy.
